As Shelly Beach Motel is at the quiet end of Hervey Bay, the peace and tranquillity takes over once you have unpacked. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the spectacular sunsets and unwind with a cold drink. A short stroll takes you to the restaurants and shops and along the way you can gather the shells after which Shelly Beach was named.
There has been a wonderful transformation in the grounds. The Gazebo area, shaded by beautiful Poinciana Trees, continues to evolve, depending on the mood or time of the year, it is decorated accordingly. The gardens and pots always have lots of flowers, very cheerful in Spring and Autumn.
This Gazebo is self-contained with a fridge, crockery, cutlery, in fact everything need for a BBQ, even a kitchen sink.
Many a time it has been used by guests from all parts of the world.
A large backyard is a plus for those with boats.
