K’gari


K’gari – the Largest sand island in the world

  • K’gari (previously known as Fraser Island) was placed on the World Heritage List in 1992 due to its unique environment, flora and fauna.
  • Classed as one of the best sand four wheel driving terrains in the world, Fraser Island also has many attractions well worth visiting including crystal clear lakes, dense rainforests, kilometres of white,, sandy beaches and some of Australia’s most pure native animals.

Fraser Island provided visitors with the opportunity to see Australian animals such as dingos, goannas, wallabies and possums. Fraser Island has many tour options, ranging from a half day tours to 3 day tours.  All tours can be booked at the Motel with a courtsey bus pick up outside of the Motel.
